They provide care packages to those newly diagnosed, gas &/or food cards to four local hospitals, as well as preventative appointments.

10/28/25 It's been a year! We've added different mixed drinks, opened D&D as a Bingo Hall the last Tuesday of the month to raise funds for our nonprofit WHY ME, and have been doing Trivia by WOOT a few times and everyone seems to have a great time! If you don't get our emails go to our contact page and give me your address & each Tuesday you'll get a list of what we're doing the next couple weeks or so. Come see us soon! 09/16/25 What a crazy year! Thank you for your continued support! We have some fun things coming up! This Friday we have WOOT trivia coming and two weeks ago it was a hoot!! Stop out and have some fun with us! Also, Fall Fest 2025 is coming Oct 4th with vendors, homemade stuffed cabbage meals, fall desserts, silent auction and all this is to help raise funds for WHY ME a 501c3 for breast cancer support and education! 8/26/25 Our son, Joe got married this past weekend! So preoccupied with that these past few months I barely got blogs entered!  We have our Fall Fest coming up October 4th 12-5. Still looking for vendors that make some craft that would like a 10x10 area to sell items. Reach out on our contact page to request information.

05/28/25 At the Ohio Wine Competition this year D&D are honored to walk away with 29 awards! Of these we have a Best of Show Fruit Wine & Double Gold; Blackberry, 5 other Double Gold winners; Blissful Ignorance, Ohio Red, Tango, Peach & Sips 'n Giggles. Also, Gold winners; Iswhatitis, Whoopee! Wine, "He Said She Said", and Tart Apple. In the Silver category we received awards for Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Barbera, Seyval Blanc, The Local, Cupid, Blueberry & Beach'n. Finally, in the Bronze category; Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Sangiovese, 401W, Crooked House, Syrah-Bourbon Aged Oak, Moscato, This 'N That, Apple Riesling & Sangria. We want to thank Kent State University Ashtabula & The Ohio State University for their ongoing education & support of our Ohio wine industry!

This is January 16 2025 - wow time is flying! We are starting our 17th year serving you!!  We added gluten free pizza dough in November '24 and it seems to be a big hit! We tried the cauliflower crust, buying the gluten free ones and putting in our oven, but the best is the one we make homemade! We'll continue to make as needed. First Friday of each month we make something special; not on our regular menu - stay tuned in our calendar!
